Freedom From Want by Norman Rockwell

Freedom from Want is a painting made in November 1942 but was published on March 6, 1943. In the photo, he and his family were photographed separately and then painted. This painting is really good and was used for a book cover of one of his books. Did you know that this painting is also known as the Thanksgiving Picuture or I'll Be Home for Christmas? Overall good painting to represent the beautiful holiday thanksgiving!

The Thankful Poor by Henry Ossawa Tanner

This painting shows two boys sitting down thinking or praying about what they have but have nothing on their plate.  This painting was in the making in 1894 by an African-American artist Henry Ossawas Tanner. This painting took inspiration from photos Henry took and then combined to make a beautiful painting. He left America then came back in 1893 and wanted to make this painting more racially aware which made this painting portray African-American Culture. Overall amazing painting and deserves more recognition!
