Matchbox: Hotwheels old competitor making a new game!

Matchbox was an old competitor of Hotwheels and has also tried to compete with Hotwheels in the gaming industry. However, since Mattel bought Matchbox from Lesney Products in 1997, they have been more focused on Hotwheels because that was their own company, which means they have not made a game since 2006! This older game was created for the Game-Boy Advance (GBA) and was called Matchbox: Air, Land, And Sea Rescue Missions. Because this game was made for the GBA, you can't be surprised when the graphics are mediocre at the most compared to games of today. This new game will be for PC, PS4/5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. This game is expected to be released tomorrow.
This game might be more focused on a mix of simulator and racing, which was Matchbox's main focus on making toy cars by making high-quality car models but not ones made for speed. Because of this, the car game community might be a little disappointed because the game's main focus is more lenient on the simulator feel, which most likely won't appeal to people who are into racing games like Mattel Hotwheels Unleashed 2.

Hopefully, this Matchbox game can live up to the hype for Hotwheels games and make itself recognized by the car game community, especially for the racing game industry. I do feel like this game is centered more towards a younger audience, around 5-10, but, this game might appeal to some older audiences which might gain its attention. Overall, this game might not appeal to everyone but it might still be a fun game overall.
