It was a sunny Saturday morning on September 9th, and the clock was stuck between 10 AM and 12 PM. Where? Well, it all went down at First Moore Baptist Church. That's where the cross-country meet happened!
Our coaches, Mr. Grice and Mrs. Alsup were there to make sure we didn't get lost in the woods or something. The race lasted, like, forever – 1 hour and 30 minutes! But it was worth it because the audience was super awesome. They were shouting things like "Finish strong!" and giving us a major boost.
We had some wise words from our fellow runners like Jacob Kieth telling us to "Run hard, run fast." or Gavin M, said he stuck with someone to stay motivated. Larson Fisher said, "When you're done, water." And the crowd was shorting things like "Hustle" but thats what happened at the Cross-Country meet.
