On August 31, 2023, there was this really cool softball game that went down at Taft Jr High! Let me break it down for you.
The game kicked off at 5:30 PM and went on for almost 2 hours until 6:50 PM. The teams that faced off were the Classen SAS and Taft Middle School. It was a real thriller, but guess what? The Classen team emerged as the winners with a score of 7-3! Talk about showing off their skills on the field.
Everyone in the crowd was hyped up, yelling stuff like "Hustle!" to cheer on the players. Both teams had some standout players who left it all out on the field.
Mx Fogarty was the coach for the Classen team, and she really guided the team well. The players had some awesome things to say too. Some of them talked about never giving up, while others were just glad they got to play that day. There was also some serious baseball wisdom being dropped, like how there's no crying in baseball and how winning and losing are all part of the game.
So, there you have it, the scoop on the softball game. The Classen Sas team totally rocked it, and I can't wait to see what they bring to the next game. It's all about the love of the game, and they're definitely shining bright!
