In Dundas Street, Burlington, Ontario, Canada a police call at 6:15 a.m. was made to Halton Regional Police reporting crates loads of bees around 5 million had escaped from a truck and saw swarmed on the street.

Police advised the drivers there to keep their windows closed and people to avoid the area, a man named Ryan Anderson who was there during the incident said "Quite the scene" and added that "Crates were literally on the road and swarms of bees were flying around,"

The police went to social media to see if any beekeepers were available to help after the original one got stung, Ryan also said. A couple of beekeepers reached out to the police station after the post asking if could be of any service.

Around 3 hours later at 9:15 the beekeepers gathered the majority of the bees and were moved away. They left a couple of crates for the bees who did not get put back to return to it on their own.

Michael Barber a man who owns the Tri-City Bee recuse nearby said that he woke up to a bunch of calls from the police around 7 a.m. and the police asking for his help while informing him of the situation. Mr. Barber decided to call in extra people to help. Bringing around a dozen beekeepers with him.

He states that the bees went as far as 1,300 from the original location. Also said that the bees were often spotted together on cars or at mailboxes, and there were some on his truck too.

He said a couple of beekeepers got stung by the older and meaner ones. He also estimated that by the end the truck driver probably experienced a hundred stings during the incident, but the injuries weren't that serious.

Michel Barber also said that some of the beekeepers were scared by the amount of bees there were. But many of them got put back in crates or died.
