During Halloween one of the most popular things to do is carve pumpkins. But how did it come to be in the United States?
The tradition of carving pumpkins was brought over to the USA by Irish immigrants around the 19th and 20th centuries.
It started from a Fall Samhain Tradition, it was rumored that the carved pumpkin would ward off evil spirits that stayed in the bay.
My question to you is, what is your favorite pumpkin face to do?
What do you do with your pumpkins after Halloween?
Tiktok user @Thedodo posted a video on October 29, 2022, of Carlton the Pig eating his neighbor's pumpkins during Halloween.
The owner tried a lot of strategies to get Carlton to try and stop eating their pumpkins by changing his leash and also his lock, but no matter what Carlton managed to escape and eat the majority of the pumpkins.
Instead of the neighbors getting mad after the owner told them what happened to their pumpkins, they were open to it and loved feeding Carlton their leftover pumpkins after Halloween.
Pigs have a natural habit of rubbing their noses to the floor after they eat, because of this Carlton may have planted his pumpkin patch in his front yard. When the owner found pumpkin plants starting to spurt in his front yard.
Now would you feed your pig a pumpkin after Halloween?
