Picture Day

Take your spot in the Yearbook, Comets! Picture Day is October 2nd, 2023. If you don't like your picture, retakes are on November 1st. For Picture Day, you can get fancy, or you can think of it as a normal day.

Your picture represents the great or terrible school year you had. I think it's fun to look back and see your old self. When taking the picture, the camera captures shades of red, blue, yellow, purple, and green well.

Picture Day was invented by Brian Warling, and the first company to facilitate school pictures was in 1922. Some advice for Picture Day is that the camera captures long sleeves better than short sleeves. A good night's sleep is important for Picture Day. Make sure you're not trying to be perfect.

Heaven Roberson (8th) said, "Picture Day is the best. You have to make sure you look good so you have a good photo... I've never had a good photo until my 7th Grade year. "

Things to avoid for picture day are bright white shirts. White shirts tend to be unflattering, making you look less than your best. Big patterns on shirts are also a thing to avoid. Make sure to keep your outfit nice and simple.

Have a great Picture Day, Comets!
