You want to be a VPA major. Great! How do you become one? That’s why you’re reading this article.
Becoming a VPA Major means that you focus on one of the Visual and Performing Arts. These include Dance, Drama, Band, ect.
In some cases, becoming a VPA major may mean taking two kinds of those classes. For example: Say you’re a Vocal major. This would mean you would have to take two Vocal classes, like Treble choir, and Beginning choir.
In other cases, being a VPA major has a few more requirements. If you were a Choir major, not only would you have to take two different Choir classes (Paragraph 3), you would also have to take two years of Piano.
To try out for a VPA Major, see your principle and meet the teacher of the art you would like to audition for. Then, just pick an audition time on okcps.org. Thanks for reading Comets!
