This week, the Comets slumped the Belle Isle Bulls. This game was highly anticipated because these two teams rarely meet. The Comets dominated this game, keeping Belle Isle in their red zone all game. Not only did the defense perform the offense was on top of it as well scoring 20 points in both halfs. This was a preparation game for the Comets considering their big game against the John Marshall Bears. If they win this game they will clinch the one seed in the ACAC playoffs.Â
The team boasts a 5-1 record, this is thanks to their phenomenal defense that has outscored their opponents 188-20. These 20 points come from their 36-6 win against the Taft Royals and their 14-0 loss against the Moon Cardinals.
