Points not a problem?

This week the Comet Boy took on the Webster Warriors. Coming into this game off of a loss they knew they had to make a statement. within 10 seconds of the game. the Comets already had 8 points onto their lead and many followed. The boys put up almost 50 points in just 12 minutes of play with a final score of 54-0. Next week they take on the Mary Golda Ross Rockets on Sept 24 at 7 pm at Taft Stadium.  This game set a new record for Comet history of most points scored in a half. 42 points in a half is widely praised in the football world because of its rarity.

When Coach Terry was asked for a quote for the game he said "Turning point". He showed that this game should be a shadow for games forward and would like to see this outcome again for weeks to come.

The Webster Warriors are having a disappointing season. being outscored by their opponents 125-21. This is uncharacteristic of this team which was once competing for championships
